Community Acupuncture

September 2024

Open Sky Studio - Mullumbimby

Nationally registered Acupuncturists Maddy and Claire have come together with Open Sky Wellbeing to offer their skills to the community. It’s their wish to give acupuncture treatments in a way that is accessible to everyone, with sliding-scale payment options in a community-style offering. Acupuncture is a subtle yet powerful tool and is used to help with a diverse range of ailments. During your session, you will have a chat & consultation with Maddy or Claire, so that they can understand your needs and health story. This is followed by pulse and tongue diagnosis; ancient Chinese Medical diagnostic tools used to piece together your pattern. Expect to feel peaceful, relaxed and centred during the session. You will leave the space anchored in a sense of calm and deep nourishment. We look forward to welcoming you.

Next Community Acupuncture Day - September - Date TBC

Yin & Pin - Byron Bay

20 July | 4pm – 6pm

Bende - Byron Bay Industrial Mat Studio

Become immersed in the healing power of Acupuncture and Yin Yoga with our complementary combo – Yin and Pins.

Throughout this decedent two hour journey you will be guided into a deep state of rest and rejuvenation by the lovely Georgie and Doctors of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Claire Broeren & Maddy Lou.

Beginning with an hour of purposeful yin postures targeting what’s known as the channel sinews with TCM, held within a balance of silence and gentle inquiry. Whilst stimulating the larger muscular groups and corresponding channels within the initial stage of the practice, the energetic direction will be introduced.

In the second part of the experience you will be gently guided into a meditative state whilst Maddy and Claire do acupuncture and bodywork. Then allow yourself to drift off into a blissful state and the needles to work their magic, leaving feeling balanced, whole and nourished.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure to wear loose clothing that can be rolled up to make it easy to place the pins.
